It's a...

Well, since nothing in this pregnancy can go without drama, My ultrasound took no less than 2 hours with no less than 3 different doctors coming in and doing more scanning and more measurements and an Advanced Maternal Age specialist coming in to discuss genetic anomalies and my options and my having to sign a form that I was declining an amniocentesis. All of this was to tell me that everything looked blessedly good.

ridiculous. I'm only 36 freakin years old, people!

Well you *knew* from the begining you were having a girl and this comfirmed it. I love the joy in Jellybean. She is very happy to be even with the boys now! And just think of all those cute clothes for ladybug can be used again for NuBaby. I am happy for you, and it almost makes me want another.... almost! :)

Yay! and congratulations. So glad that things are looking good for you and your little girl.

I'm 1 week behind you, so your little snippets of pregnancy things give me a little warning of what to expect next week. Though I am still waiting to be able to say conclusively that I can feel movement ... I think I can, but it's my first pregnancy so I don't really know.

KATE! I've been so cautious to post, so on the edge of my seat, praying and thinking about you so often and I feel like I can finally say, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I am so excited for you, you have no idea.

I am SO happy for you. What an adorable way to tell the rest of the family (btw those are some yummy looking cupcakes). Jellybean is hilarious.

I knew it was a girl -- such a little survivor!

Congrats, Elizabeth

That's so sweet - did you peek before showing everyone? ;)

So glad to hear the u/s went well, even though it must have been nerve wracking with the time and all the dr's. I was 38 with my first and 42 with my second - the RE tried to refer me to a high risk OB but I said no thanks and had a home birth with my midwives. You're just a pup (albeit an experienced one)! :)

Wishing you an easy time of it for the rest, mentally and physically.

Glad to hear everything is looking blessedly good. YAY. And I smiled at the 3 doctors and 2 hours. Altogether too familiar.

Yay!!! So excited all is well. You have quite the intuition, you know?

And I love the video. How fun it will be for this little one to see it one day.

Okay, NOW are you going to share at IVFC?!?!? I hope you don't feel weird about it. It's a miracle pregnancy no matter how it came to be.
